With conference season in full swing, it's hard to keep up with all the learning and networking opportunities. It helps to have some good suggestions in your pocket heading into an event.
HCIC is one of the biggest and busiest of the conferences for executive and senior marketing, digital health and patient experience leaders in healthcare. There's a lot of content around marketing, experience and digital transformation. We've looked at the schedule and have a few recommendations for some not to be missed things:
- HCIC opens on Sunday at 6:30 with an awards program and a networking dinner. This newly combined awards event includes the announcement of the 2023 eHealthcare Leadership Awards winners, the induction of the 2023 Class of the Healthcare Internet Hall of Fame and the recipient of the 2023 John A. Eudes Vision & Excellence Award. A few our amazing clients are nominated for awards (and so are we!) so we will surely be there!
- We're excited by a few of the Master Classes, but this one stands out to us, Encouraging Collaboration between Clinical, Business, IT, Marketing, and Operations. Why this one in particular? Because we've learned that the most successful patient engagement and experience initiatives are managed by collaborative teams that work together towards a common goal.
- Don't miss the general session, Patient Experience Turned Upside Down with Ed Marx and Chris Ross. If you're familiar with Ed, you'll know this will be a fun, engaging and value-packed session.
- If you're looking for some help with getting the best brand experience from web and mobile, these sessions might help. The End of the One and Done Website Redesign with Matt Schwabel from UNC should be interesting. UNC has a very thoughtful approach to digital experience. And The Journey Toward a Cohesive Digital Brand with Jenny Walker from CHRISTUS Health should be very interesting as they have spend quite a lot of time and effort on their current brand strategy and efforts and have many learnings from that experience.
- If the digital front door and related engagement strategy are a priority for you then might we also recommend some vendors to check out at the event. Stop and say hi to Gozio at booth #32. We'd love to hear about your current mobile engagement strategy and share our insights. Some other great vendors to check out include WebMD Ignite, Hyro, Kyruus, and Carenet.
Hopefully this give you a little help in your planning. If you're looking for something to do on Tuesday 11/7 join us for a dinner with Ed Marx. Seats are limited to grab your spot now before they are all done.
